From the Pastor’s Pen . .
"Family Friendly Experience"
The Deltona Christian Church is a congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. The New Testament in our Holy Bible is the guide for our faith and practice of daily living. The words of the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Galatians compel us to take care of each other. Here is what he says.
Bear one anothers burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ... Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. -Galatians 6.2, 9-10.
Our congregation is "family friendly." We try to make everyone who walks into our sanctuary fell welcome, whether you are old or young, male or female, single, a single parent, married, or divorced. If you have no family living close in this area, we invite you to become a part of our "church family."
We have a nursery available for those who have children. We have church family potluck dinners once a month and coffee fellowship after worship every Sunday.
We are sponsoring a Vacation Bible School along with the Community Life worship Center at our church July 20-24 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:45 for children in our community. For more information call 386-574-2431.
