I still look forward to the ministry of Christ and find joy in working with so many folks in our congregation and in the community as we attempt to bring hope and healing and justice to our world.
Join us as we seek to be faithful to our Lord in this community. We need each and every member and friend of the Deltona Christian Church to unite in this effort to minister to the least and the lost and help folks discover in this place a church family that cares and is willing to welcome and nurture families, seniors, singles, couples, young and old as we praise God and serve to glorify Christ.
J. C. Steele, Pastor of Deltona Christian Church for the past 27 years, served four years in the USAF, and is a Vietnam Vet. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida, and taught at Zephyrhills High School for nine years. He has a Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary, and was ordained to a Christian Ministry in 1984. He has been married to wife Caroline for forty-three years, and has three children: Jennifer, Christy and Jonathan. He has also been blessed with three wonderful grandchildren.
As pastor of this congregation for over 27 years, I have been privileged to serve the church family in times of joy and sorrow, at the birth of children and death of loved ones, ministering to the sick and those troubled in spirit. What a joy it is to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God has blessed our congregation on this journey of faith.

Pat Geese
Minister of Music
Pat is licensed as a minister in full standing with the Florida Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She earned an Associate in Fine Arts Degree from Catawba Valley Community College, Hickory, NC in 1993. She and Bill celebrated their 52nd Anniversary and have three grown sons: Samuel, Norman and David. They also brag about six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Pat has been serving as a church musician since 1968, both as organist and choir/music director. She came to Deltona Christian Church in February 1997, and is presently serving as Minister of Worship and Music. She has also served as our church secretary for the past 8 years.
